Some historical facts:
Almost all the architecture of the lido is due to the boom in the 1950s and 1960s; after more than 30 years of immobility, the outskirts of the town are undergoing a new wave of construction, with particular interest in the construction of single-family and multi-family houses (the most popular type in the lido).
Since 2008, Comacchio has been implementing a rehabilitation program for the main streets of the lido and urban furnishings.
On August 8 of all the years a celebration is celebrated in the streets to remember its foundation, together with the Lido degli Scacchi, by Riccardo Rocca, an entrepreneur who contributed fundamentally to the development and tourism development of the Lidi comacchiesi and which gives the its name in the central square of the Pomposa beach (Piazzale Riccardo Rocca).
